Willmar Industrial ParkShovel Ready logo w.construction

If you’re looking for a shovel-ready industrial park with great access to transportation networks, then Kandiyohi County is the right place. With more than 130 acres available for development and plans in place to add rail access, the Willmar Industrial Park is uniquely positioned to offer what no other industrial park in Minnesota can.  Interested? Learn more by looking at our Willmar Industrial Park.

A nearly $50 million dollar collaborative public-private project between the U.S. Department of Transportation, BNSF, the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Kandiyohi County, the City of Willmar and KCED is in the planning stage, with the goal to add a rail spur into the Industrial Park.  That would make it one of the only parks in the state to offer direct rail access.  Click here to read more on the Wye project.

Nearly 30 companies already call Willmar Industrial Park home, including Jennie-O Turkey Store, RELCO, Mills Parts Center, Willmar Poultry Company and Willmar Electric Service.

The city of Willmar has a land pricing Write-Down Policy to stimulate projects in the Industrial Park.  Financial incentives are available through the Kandiyohi County Economic Development.
