Minnesota Latino Chamber of Commerce, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce MinnesotaMinnesota Black Chamber of CommerceAsian American Chamber of Commerce all have resources for unique, diverse audiences of business owners.

The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce will also meet with you one-on-one to help you identify resources specifically for you.

Elevate Community Business Academy

Elevate Community Business Academy provides business education and coaching specifically tailored to underserved minority entrepreneurs, with the guiding objective of creating economic opportunity for all businesses or residents of, or near, Kandiyohi County, MN. The program offers hands-on training in business planning and management. Elevate allows new or growing businesses to engage with established community members and leaders and build a network of support and accountability.

Mid-Minnesota Development Commission

Mid-Minnesota Development Commission, also located in Willmar, has business loans and guidance.

The Office of Small Business and Innovation within DEED hosts monthly business chats, and one-on-one guidance.

Score offers free weekly trainings and mentorship. They have a Startup Roadmap including online courses, recorded webinars from marketing to finances, and free live trainings weekly.

Small Business Development Centers (SBDC)

Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), through the SBA, although there is not a strong presence in Kandiyohi County presently. This include the Veteran’s Business Outreach Center and Women’s Business Centers.
