On this date 36 years ago HR5050 was passed. 👭🏽 Women’s Business Ownership Act of 1988💸 allowed women to *finally* have the right to gain access to an independent business loan. Prior to this law a women had to have a man sign on the loan for her. Today there are over 14 million women-owned businesses 🏪 in the U.S. which makes up 40% of total businesses. They employ 12 million people and generate $2.7 trillion dollars in revenue📈. Support women in business and women in the workforce and support a strong economy! 💪🌻
