With colors of the blue and sandy beige, the sea like look and feel inside the soon-to-be-open, Lone Tree Board & Paddle will be providing new opportunities for things to do on the Spicer area lakes this summer. Ben and Holly Danielson, owners, have rented paddle board and kayaks for over a year out of their home.
Now with a storefront and additional items for sale, this new retail center will be ready for expanded business to residents and summer visitors to the area. They can be found just off the public dock at the center of Spicer’s main street. They will feature paddle boards and kayaks for sale or lease, surfboards for sale and water sports lessons. Clothing items will also be available in the surf shop and include such brands as Reef, Quick Silver, Roxy, and O’Neill. Lone Tree Board & Paddle will also accommodate winter sports enthusiasts with winter sporting clothing, gear, and snowboarding equipment.
Ben and his father Steve have been working on the interior of the space. Steve is the woodworking artist using specially cut lumber from Three Fingers Mill to incorporate throughout the store.
