Little Crow Country Club Continues to Transform

The GrandStay Hotel & Event Center Project at Little Crow Country Club is officially underway!

Plans for the 51-room hotel, 300-seat event center, 75-seat restaurant and new Little Crow Country Club clubhouse finalized in early 2017; however, it took longer than initially envisioned to complete the $2.35 million equity drive for the project. Once the funding came together in July, the project moved ahead quickly.

Architectural plans finalized during the summer, loan closing occurred in early October, the groundbreaking ceremony took place on October 25th and site work began shortly thereafter.  Foundations for the hotel, event center and restaurant are mostly complete.  Walls for the complex will be fabricated offsite and kitchen equipment needed will be sent out for bid shortly.

You might say the hospitality project has moved “out of the rough and onto the green.”  The $7.8 million project will not only change the face of Little Crow Country Club, but it will also make LCCC and the New London-Spicer area even more of a visitor destination.  The GrandStay Hotel & Event Center project transforms the 27-hole golf course from a seasonal recreational facility to a year-round, major destination draw in Kandiyohi County and West Central Minnesota.
