Partners in Ag Conference

The conference is co-hosted by MinnWest Technology Campus and the Kandiyohi County Economic Development on an annual basis to bring the Ag and Animal Science together regionally in Willmar, MN.

This year’s theme is The Impact of Technology on Agriculture. Technology has transformed traditional farming and agribusiness practices and will continue to address challenges this industry faces. Topics such as AI, access to information and markets, data analytics and data driven decisions, supply chain management, climate modeling, biotechnology, automation and robotics and precision farming are all changing the industry landscape. We will delve into some of these topic areas during panel discussions as well as hear directly from producers during our Storyteller sessions, gaining insights from real experiences. We will also look at future trends and how they may continue to shape the industry.

Register for the event, which includes breakfast!

New Look and New Name

Many changes are occurring within the organization! The Kandiyohi County and City of Willmar Economic Development Commission (EDC) will soon start using its new marketing name, Kandiyohi County Economic Development (KCED). Throughout the past year, the Marketing and Public Relations Committee has made recommendations to the Joint Operations and Joint Powers Boards. The new logo and name have both been approved, but daily use of them will wait until a new website is published in the spring of 2024! Stay tuned for more and read full news articles below for the latest updates.
