WILLMAR—The end user for the massive logistics facility being constructed in the Willmar Industrial Park has finally been identified publicly.
“It’s official; it is FedEx,” said Aaron Backman, executive director of the Kandiyohi County and city of Willmar Economic Development Commission.
The project is estimated to be worth more than $30 million, and includes the construction of a 217,000-square-foot distribution center, located between Willmar and Trott Avenues Southwest along
WILLMAR—A large logistics facility to be constructed in the Willmar Industrial Park is still a go, though changes have been made to the land purchase agreement between the city and Ruedebusch Development & Construction National, the project developer.
The Willmar City Council, at its meeting Monday, made amendments to the purchase agreement and major subdivision plat. The council also approved the development agreement with RDC National, which lays out the responsibilities of each party.

WILLMAR—The pieces are starting to come together for the large logistics facility to be constructed on the west end of Willmar, in the Willmar Industrial Park.
The Willmar Planning Commission at Wednesday’s meeting recommended the approval of the project’s plan, and also approved the vacation of several easements in the property the developer is purchasing from the city.

WILLMAR—The possible construction of a massive development project in the Willmar Industrial Park moved closer to fruition on Wednesday, with the Willmar Planning Commission recommending the city sell more than 30 acres of land to RDC National Inc.
RDC National is working on behalf of an end user—not yet identified publicly—to construct an over $25 million logistics facility in the Industrial Park’s Fourth Addition, located between Willmar Avenue and Trott Avenue Southwest on the
