of Green Lake provide a dazzling backdrop for the community.
Spicer is a popular vacation spot offering a bounty of recreational
activities for visitors from all over the country. A sampling
of the most popular events include BMX racing, the Fourth
of July festival with a parade, flea market, fireworks, softball
tournament, coronation, road race and street dance; the Green
Lake Bible Camp Quilt Auction, Prairie Pothole Day and WinterFest
with multiple weekends of fun, including ice castle, fireworks,
ice golf tournament, ice sculpture contest, snowmobile radar
runs, snowmobile drag race, smoosh races, fishing derby and
much more. Nearby attractions include Prairie
Woods Environmental Learning Center, Sibley
State Park, Glacial
Lakes state recreation trail, Spicer
